Sweet Potato Casserole (Jannie)


Casserole:                                                            
1 lg. can yams- drained                                       
1 cup sugar                                                            
2 eggs                                                                    
1 stick melted butter                                             
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Topping:
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped nuts

Mix together yams, sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla.  Add in coconut, cinnamon and nutmeg.  Put casserole mixture in a 3 qt. casserole dish.  Mix together topping and spread onto casserole.  Bake at 325° for 35 minutes.
