Spaghetti Sauce (Grandma Morgan)


1/2 cup chopped onion                                
1 lb. ground beef                                          
1 tsp. garlic salt                                          
1/4 cup chopped parsley or 2 tsp. dried parsley     
2 cups canned tomatoes                            
1/2 tsp. oregano                                          
Dash of basil                                      
1 can mushrooms
1- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Bay leaf   

Sauté onions and ground beef together.  Add all other ingredients.  Cover and simmer 1 hour.  Uncover for 30 minutes.  Remove Bay leaf.  Enjoy!
